Cecilia Wichmann is an author and publisher dedicated to helping stories find their readers. Known for her honest and hands-on approach, she believes publishing should be personal, relational, and built around each author’s unique voice rather than a one-size-fits-all process.

She is the founder of Wichmann & Co. She created the company to publish her own work and to support authors who want guidance, partnership, and a real home for their work. Through Wichmann & Co, Cecilia works closely with writers from manuscript to finished book, helping them bring their stories to life and into the hands of readers. She also owns Willa’s Bookstore, an online signed-book bookstore focused on independent authors and meaningful storytelling.

Cecilia published her debut novel The Ticket in 2025, and her second novel Beneath The Surface is expected to be released in 2026.

Storytelling is at the heart of her work, both as an author and as a publisher championing new voices.

Originally from Sweden and now based in Texas, Cecilia is a two-time cardiac arrest survivor, an experience that shaped her deep belief that every story matters and deserves to be told.

Rachel Mercer lives a quiet life in Wills Point, Texas, working the phones at a call center and keeping mostly to herself. One ordinary stop at a convenience store changes everything when her Powerball ticket wins 1.8 billion dollars.

Overnight, privacy disappears. Rumors spread online, strangers begin watching her home, and danger starts closing in. With help from trusted allies, Rachel must learn fast how to protect her finances, her identity, and her future while deciding who she can trust and who she must leave behind.

Set in recognizable East Texas towns and locations, the novel blends suspense with small-town realism and has been especially popular with readers who enjoy local settings and relatable characters.
