Ep. 7 – Choose

There’s a floor that doesn’t show up on maps. A rooftop that doesn’t remember the last time someone didn’t fall. And a woman with a navy dress and too many secrets who says, “Names are wires. They carry current.”

In this episode of Lexington & Lies, Lis is led through the back doors of the city. The service corridors, the forgotten stairwells, the stories beneath the headlines. Someone has used her name to open a door. Now she has to decide if she’ll close it, or burn the building down.

A gala is coming, but it’s not just about speeches and champagne. It’s cover for something much colder. Janelle and Lis find themselves on a floor under construction, surrounded by camera feeds, server racks, and one very familiar shade of lipstick.

Then comes the video.

Then comes the rooftop.

And then comes Him.

Because this city always makes you choose: Who you trust. What you forget. And who you are when the only way out is down a ladder into the dark.

This episode is about power and memory. About doors that open, and ones that lock behind you. And about what happens when your name stops being yours alone.
